Biography
Here is some information sent me by the Son and Daughter of the late Ritchie Boy, Alfred Oppenheimer. Ritchie Boy Alfred Oppenheimer "left Germany at age 15 in 1941 and came to the U.S. He was drafted when he was 17 or 18 - they pulled him out of school and he got his GED in the army. He spoke about interrogating germans and seeing the camps. He was with the Interrogation Prisoner of War team 6th Armored Division: interrogated German POW's and participated in counter- intelligence activities in seeking out and apprehending political prisoners." Below is a photo of Ritchie Boy Alfred Oppenheimer as well as a sketch of RB Oppenheimer done by a German POW!
