Paul Rabinek (1914–1964) was a Ritchie Boy (from Austria; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 8 and served with IPW Team 41.
Biography
Susan Rabinek Birnberg sent in a photo of her Dad, Staff Sergeant Paul Rabinek with some of his colleagues. Paul Rabinek is at the far right in the jeep. Paul Rabinek was a member of IPW (Interrogators of Prisoners of War) Team 41; other members of the team included 1st Lt. Melvin Rust; 2nd Lt. Kahn; M/Sgt Kurt F. Jasen; S/Sgt Guy Stern; and T/5 William F Bockhaus. S/Sgt Guy Stern and M/Sgt Kurt Jasen are listed in Bruce Henderson's book as two of the 1,985 German-Jewish Ritchie Boys.
