Ernest N. Yarnevich was a United States Army soldier associated with Camp Ritchie, Maryland.
Biography
Yarnevich appears in a wartime group photograph of Ritchie Boys (see the gallery caption for identifications and photo credit). Again, I want to thank Ritchie Boy Jack Boeki's daughter, Anna-Lea Boeki, for sending these photographs. The top picture is the 970th Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC) Field Office in Nuremberg, Occupied Germany. The 970th CIC team was attached to the 90th Infantry Division, the "Tough 'Ombres," made up of soldiers from the Texas/Oklahoma area. RB Boeki is on the second row far left. The commanding officer, Major Ernest Yarnevich, is in the center on the first row and in the photo to the right. At the bottom is a photo of Jack Boeki from 1944 taken at MIS (?) 333rd Sq, Blackpool, England.
