Rolf Bergman (1923 – 10 April 1981) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 11 and served with IPW Team 79.

Biography

Rolf Bergman (1923–1981) was born in Berlin to Jewish parents who owned a millinery shop. After emigrating to the United States he graduated from Washington Irving High School in New York (1937), enrolled at New York University, and became a U.S. citizen in September 1942. He enlisted in New York City on 29 April 1943, trained at Camp Ritchie in class 11 as a German IPW interrogator, and served overseas as master sergeant with IPW Team 79, attached to XII Corps. He died on 10 April 1981 at age 57.
