- 7/16/1943 Graduated with Class 8 (IPW Ge). OIC (German).
- 10/13/1943 Promoted to 1st Lt.
- 4/26/1945 Awarded Silver Star for bravery on dangerous mission in Hostau, Czechoslovakia. This resulted in the saving of the Lipizzaner horses.
- 1/1942 Assigned to Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth. Course in Signal.
- 1946 Discharged with rank of Major.
