Michael J. Baglio (ASN 37098419) was a Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Michael J. Baglio trained at Camp Ritchie and served as a sergeant. In September 1944, while with the U.S. Fifth Army near Firenzuola, Italy, he and Lt. Wolfgang J. Lehmann gathered information from Italian partisans (National Museum of American Diplomacy).
After the war he settled in Minnesota and served as Italian Vice Consul to Minnesota; he was active in Italian American affairs in Minneapolis–Saint Paul.
