Marvin Satin (28 October 1922 – 18 March 2017) was a Ritchie Boy (from United States) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 24.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Marvin Satin was born on 28 October 1922. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 24) in intelligence, counterintelligence, interrogation, investigation, and psychological warfare.
After the war Satin spent much of his life in the Chicago area and led H. A. Satin & Co., a clothing manufacturer. He and his wife Naomi moved to Rancho Mirage, California, in 1989. In retirement he consulted on manufacturing projects in Central America, Turkey, Mexico, Pakistan, and India, and continued working into his nineties as a substitute teacher. Satin died at home in Rancho Mirage on 18 March 2017.
