George Tushak (1919–1993) was a United States Army Corporal who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 19. George enlisted at Cp Upton Yaphank, New York.
Biography edit
From 1938 to 1940, George worked as jeweler/goldsmith in Switzerland; also translator. In May 1943, Tushak served as Battery Clerk in Texas camp. He listed as member of Photo Interpreter Team 6 (assigned to 28th Infantry Division) but name does not appear along with team members (hence a ‘replacement’). Became naturalized citizen in Morrison County, MN.
