Vernon O. Heyman (1920–2011) was a United States Army technician third grade who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 15 and served with IPW Team 60.
Biography edit
Vernon O. Heyman was born in Germany in 1920. A Jewish immigrant to the United States, he trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 15) and served as a technician third grade with an IPW team.
A wartime report dated 7 February 1945 for the 134th Infantry Regiment, IPW Team 50 (APO 35), states that Tec 3 Heyman was severely wounded in action.
Heyman died in 2011 at age 90.
