Biography

In that interval, an army emerged that was capable of defeating battle-hardened Germans in North Africa a year later..." Dickson gives most credit for forging a modern American fighting force to Army Chief of Staff George C. Marshall, who was also most responsible for the creation of Camp Ritchie.
