Henry W. Bloch (born 1914) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 18 and served with IPW Team 157T;92.
Biography edit
Bloch (1914–2019) was a German-born Jewish Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 18 and served overseas as a sergeant with IPW Team 157. On 25 July 1945, he attended AIC 1565 Ivan Heim, alias Mustafa Ali Bascha, born Jewish in Yugoslavia, studied in Vienna, worked for Abwehr, TURKUL Affair.
In September 1943, he attended Student (rank Sgt) at University of Pittsburgh (ASTP).
On 8 August 1945, he aIC 1563 Duschan Marinovic, alias Mirkovich, native of Yugoslavia, drafted by Germans, member of German Intelligence, knowledge of languages; fanatic enemy of Communism and Tito; AAC.
In December 1940, Henry became a naturalized citizen. He for their services, the French Government awarded the officers and men of this unit the Croix de Guerre with Fourragere. He material witness war crimes committed against UN nationals.
He died on 23 April 2019 at age 96. After the war he co-founded the tax-preparation firm H&R Block with his brother Richard Bloch.
