Alfred Strauss (1910–1997) was a United States Army Corporal who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 27. Alfred enlisted at Los Angeles, California.

Biography[edit | edit source]

He thesis (2013) referring to CIC Officer Alfred Strauss in Augsburg. Alfred attended Did not graduate (“no job classification”). Worked as photographic assistant; also as salesman. Worked in photo processing field. In July 1944, As Corporal, served as photographer with Sig Sec HQ Co JBA. As a civilian, served as CIC Screening Officer in Augsburg Internment Camp (and others); SEE BELOW. Alfred Strauss was of German descent and spoke and wrote a very good (but not perfect) German.
