Biography[edit | edit source]
John Herman Baer (1919–1990) was a German-born Jewish Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 9 and served overseas as a technician fifth grade with IPW Team 34, 4th Infantry Division. Captain Walter V. Bodlander led the team into battle on D-Day, 6 June 1944.
