Ernst G. Beier (1916–2015) was a United States Army soldier associated with Camp Ritchie, Maryland. Ernst enlisted at New York City, New York.

Biography edit

In 1949, he attended Columbia (PhD, Psychology). After the war, Beier returned to the United States and earned a doctorate in psychology. He went on to a distinguished academic career, first at Syracuse University and then at the University of Utah. Worked as laboratory assistant in chemical factory; tested for quality of oils and gasolines. On 30 October 1943, Became naturalized citizen in Eagle County, CO. Beier was from an affluent German Jewish family; he escaped to America just before Hitler's Nazi juggernaut closed the borders and he lost contact with the first great love of his life.
