Charles F. Marshall (1915–2002) was a United States Army Second Lieutenant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 10.
Biography edit
From 1921 to 1933, Charles graduated grammar school and high school in New York. In January 1943, Marshall served as Reconnaissance Officer with HQ of 14th Armored Division. He wrote a biography of Rommel: “Discovering the Rommel Murder” (1994). Worked as supervisor in knitting dept. He served as OIC of MII 499-G (assigned to VI Corps).

- Born 28 October 1915 in Hoboken NJ to immigrant Catholic parents from German-speaking Hungary.
- 20 September 1943 — Graduated with Class 10 (IPW Ge).
- 2 December 1943 — Included as one of seven Lieutenants designated to be Officers in Charge (OIC) with Order of Battle Teams for Fifth Army. (All graduated Class 7 Ger OB). Others were:.
- 1945 — Promoted to Captain.
- December 1942 — Completed OCS and promoted to 2nd Lt (ASN 01014422).
- January 1943 — Served as Reconnaissance Officer with HQ of 14th Armored Division.
- June 1946 — Returned to U.S. on SS Sea Flier.
- Graduated Class 7 German OB.
- Served as OIC of MII 499-G (assigned to VI Corps).
