In 1942, he attended Post-graduate trade school. In July 1943 he served as clerk-typist (Cpl rating). He Graduated college CCNY (BS, Economics). Worked as dress cutter. On 6 May 1943, Became naturalized citizen, Camp Breckenridge, KY.
