Hugh D. Jones (1919–1944) was a United States Army First Lieutenant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 9.
Biography[edit | edit source]
From 1941 to 1942, Jones attended University of Wisconsin (1 year). Hugh attended University of Wisconsin (BS, Agriculture) ROTC. Worked as tire salesman. On 15 October 1943, Completed graduate class in PI. He served as observer in small observation plane to direct tank and. He buried in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy.
