Finn W. Roll (1919–1988) was a United States Army First Lieutenant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 4.
Biography edit
In 1942, Became member of the FSSF and trained in mountain warfare (Montana). In 1956, he retired as Major. He served as Captain (ASN: 01285308) in the FSSF, HQ Detachment in North Africa and Italy.

- Born 1919 Born in Oslo, Norway, son of the U.S. Consul. Held dual citizenship.
- 1940 — Served with Norwegian Army.
- 30 October 1941 — Enlisted in the U.S. Army in Washington DC as Pvt (ASN: 13042580).
- 6 March 1943 — Graduated with Class 4 (IPW Ge).
- Served as Captain (ASN: 01285308) in the FSSF, HQ Detachment in North Africa and Italy. Several reports by Captain Finn Roll (reporting to HQ, Task Force B) dealt with interrogations of captured POWs in Italy Jan 1944.
- 1956 — Retired as Major.
- Served with the 3rd Army through the Rhineland campaign.
