Interrogation Report No. 107 (27 December 1944)[edit | edit source]

During the Battle of the Bulge, IPW Team No. 46 was attached to Headquarters, 120th Infantry Regiment (A.P.O. 30 — 30th Infantry Division). At 1930 on 27 December 1944 the team issued Interrogation Report No. 107 covering PWs processed from 2200 hours 26 December through 27 December.

The report names no American interrogators. It summarizes two German prisoners (PW Nos. 3824–3825): one from 4 Co / 11 Pz Regt, 9 Pz Div (referencing Report No. 106) and one from Hq I Bn / 293 VG Regt, 18 VG Div, captured near map coordinates (792020) after a security squad was moved from Bellevaux to a roadblock and overrun. Unit-history notes place the 293rd VGR battalion’s move from Denmark via Bleialf (Schnee-Eifel) into the Malmedy–Stavelot sector.
