Peter K. Weyl (1924–2016) was a United States Army Private who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 10. Peter enlisted at New York City, New York.
Biography edit
On 28 May 1943, Weyl became citizen. Weyl, who retired from Stony Brook in 1995, was surrounded by friends and family. A founder of the Marine Sciences Research Center at Stony Brook, which is now the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, Peter Weyl died on Sunday, May 22 at the age of 92. He was assigned to OB Team 78 attached to 45th Infantry Division.
