Gaetan de Bourbon-Parme (11 June 1905–9 March 1958), also Gaetano Maria Giuseppe Pio of Bourbon-Parma, was a Camp Ritchie trainee and instructor (ASN 32714144) from the House of Bourbon-Parma; he later took part in the Normandy landings and the campaign in France.

Biography

Gaetan (Gaetano) de Bourbon-Parme was born on 11 June 1905 at Villa Pianore, Lucca, Italy, a prince of the House of Bourbon-Parma (also known as Gaëtan Maria Joseph Pius). Published accounts place him as an instructor at Camp Ritchie and note later service connected with the Normandy landings and the campaign in France. A Gross research photograph note points to a wartime image of the prince at Camp Ritchie (scrubbing a tub); the linked search is not a stable upload source. He died on 9 March 1958 at Mandelieu-la-Napoule, France, following a car accident.
