Ernest M. Gunzburg (1911–1990) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 9 and served with IPW Team 34.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Ernest M. Gunzburg (1911–1990) was a German-born Jewish Ritchie Boy who served overseas as a technician third grade with IPW Team 34, 4th Infantry Division. Captain Walter V. Bodlander led the team into battle on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Fellow team members included 2nd Lt. Wilfred T. Kietzmann, M/Sgt Robert H. Baer.
