William E. Mccown (1898–1966) was a United States Army Private First Class who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 9.

From 1916 to 1918, William attended 2 years as Art Major at the University of Missouri.
Mccown trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 9). He “During World War II, he served with Army Intelligence in London as a French translator”.
