Franz J. Vidor (1919–2006) was a United States Army soldier who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 18, and is also associated with IPW Team 1 (101st Airborne Division / VIII Corps).
Biography edit
Franz was an Italian-born Protestant Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in Class 18. Research notes also associate him with IPW Team 1. On 11 February 1944, IPW Team 1 was attached to the 101st Airborne Division (VIII Corps). Core Team 1 members included Joseph C. Pangerl Jr., Alphonse Francis Gion, Hermann Coquelin, Emil H. Koslan, Frederick C. Patheiger, and George Goldberg.
